EXHIBITIONS & INSTALLATIONS
A ROOM OF ONE'S OWN, MARIE REAY TEACHING BUILDING (25th Mar-9th Dec 2019)
I organised a group exhibition for the Design Canberra Festival to show how design can bring about inclusion. This exhibition takes Virginia Woolf’s essay title literally and has a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining room and study, with each room displaying designs that pertain to related women's issues. It answered the call "Designers may believe they are making products for everyone, but in reality they are mainly making them for men. It's time to start designing women in" (Caroline Criado Perez, Invisible Women: Data Bias in a world built for men).
